Michael V. Barszcz, attended Brown University as an undergraduate and Brown University Medical School where he earned a Medical Doctorate (M.D.).  He also attended the University of Florida College of Law and earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.), a law degree.  He started his legal career defending insurance companies and understands the way insurance adjusters and defense attorneys view and defend cases.  For over 30 years, Mr. Barszcz has used his combined medical-legal education to diligently and aggressively represent his clients.  Mr. Barszcz’ medical education and legal experience often provides a refreshing and unique perspective into the analysis of a case, development of a sound legal strategy, effective methods for the presentation of evidence and highly skilled cross-examination of expert witnesses.

Mr. Barszcz is admitted to represent clients in both state and federal courts throughout the state of Florida. He has also achieved the highest rating, an “AV Preeminent Rating”, from Martindale-Hubbell, the most respected national legal ratings service.  Less than 20% of all attorneys ever achieve this rating.

Mr. Barszcz has obtained many multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.  He is a long time member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This affiliation requires a minimum of one case resolution equaling $1,000,000 in order to qualify for membership. His exclusive membership as a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine is an honor reserved for those graduates who have obtained both medical doctor and legal degrees.
